LOUISVILLE - A two-car accident near Platte River State Park resulted in minor injuries.
Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reported the accident occurred July 16, 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of 358th St. and East Park Highway.
Investigators say Matthew Hrdy, 28, of Louisville was driving west on East Park Highway when Traci L. Jackson, 46, of Louisville was headed south on 358th St. She stopped at the stop sign but did not see any traffic and proceed through the sign into the path of Hrdy. Hrdy attempted to swerve to avoid the accident but collided with Jackson at the intersection. Cass County deputies and Louisville Rescue responded.
East Park Highway was closed for about an hour. Hrdy was transported to a hospital by Louisville Rescue. The investigation is continuing.
