Omaha man hospitalized after incident at gun club

LOUISVILLE - An Omaha man was hospitalized July 19 after wounding himself at Easter Nebraska Gun Club.

Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reported his office received a call from Methodist Hospital saying they were treating John W. Liebsack, 33, from Omaha, for a foot injury. Deputies were advised Liebsack shot himself in the foot with a .44 caliber handgun. He was taken by private vehicle to the hospital.

His injury is non-life threatening. The investigation is continuing.
