John L. Hall, born on May 14, 1957, in Wichita, Kan., and passed on July 4, 2008, in Bellevue. John was born to John L. and Opal Jeannette Hall. Survived by wife, Kim; daughters, Katie and Abbie; sons, Phillip (Angelina) of Boaz, Ala.; and Christopher of Owego, N.Y.; grandsons, Christopher (CJ), Broc and Ethan; sisters, Katherine (Orlan) Larson of Omaha; and Melinda (Scott) Ackerson of York, S.C.; Deb (Jim) Tuepker and Karla (David) Zlatkovsky of Lexington; Kyle Delaney and Jennifer (Dave) Bennett of Omaha; Lisa Hennek of Dallas, Texas; and Lori (Kurt) Weinberg of Lake Crystal, Minn.; in-laws, Don and Margy Hennek of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and grandparents.
John was in the automotive business for almost 30 years throughout New York and Nebraska. John was an avid Cornhusker fan, watching sporting events of his children, and he also enjoyed golf.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be July 9 at John A. Gentleman Mortuary at 14151 Pacific St., Omaha, beginning at 1 p.m.
