Lorene Marie McKulsky, 88, of Plattsmouth died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at NHS University Hospital in Omaha.
She was born Jan. 21, 1920, in McClelland, Iowa, to Roy Charles and Ruby (Kerber) Lammert.
On Oct. 5, 1941, she married George Fredrick McKulsky in Omaha.
Lorene was raised and schooled in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where she attended and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She worked around the Council Bluffs and Omaha area. After she met and married George, they moved to Murray in 1950. Lorene worked at the Murray Post Office until she retired in 1972. They moved to Plattsmouth in 1979 and lived here since.
Survivors include her son, Donald McKulsky, Aurora, S.D.; grandsons, Rodney and wife Dannielle McKulsky, Plattsmouth; Bryan and wife Tami McKulsky, Plattsmouth; six great-grandchildren; stepson, Michael and wife Chris Ralston, Chaska, Minn.; two step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth: 10 a.m., Friday, July 11, with Pastor Michael McGregor officiating.
Visitation: 1-9 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Roby Funeral Home with family receiving relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m.
