Rose Etta Markham, 68, of Plattsmouth died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at NHS University Hospital in Omaha.
She was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Gloverville, N.Y., to Charles and Rose Surnear.
On Aug. 30, 1958, she married Robert Daniel Markham in Plattsmouth.
Rose was raised and schooled in Omaha and Plattsmouth. She attended Plattsmouth High School. She had lived in Plattsmouth since her childhood and married Robert here. Rose had worked at Schreiner Drug.
Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Markham, Plattsmouth; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Lori Markham, Weeping Water; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Rex Schreiner, Weeping water; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service: 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, at Oakhill Cemetery with Pastor Michael McGregor officiating.
Final resting place: Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth
